Travel Trailer Tire Repair
Mobile travel trailer tire repair and replacement — campground, storage lot, or pre-trip at your home. All of Central Florida covered.

Snowbirds coming back to Florida in October, or local families heading out for spring break — the calls are the same. The trailer sat in a storage yard for 6 months and nobody checked the tires. Now there's dry rot on two sidewalls and a third that's borderline. We'll come to the storage yard before you hook up, or to your driveway the morning of the trip. ST225/75R15 and ST235/80R16 cover most travel trailers in the 24-to-30-foot range. If you're planning a run up I-95 to Savannah, a sidewall failure at mile marker 300 isn't the story you want.

Calls We Get Every Week
Snowbird pre-season storage check
A retired couple pulls their 28-foot travel trailer out of storage in Deltona for the first time in 7 months. We find two tires with 2018 DOT dates and sidewall cracking — both replaced before they hit I-95.
Campground flat at Canaveral National Seashore
A family notices a soft rear tandem tire after setting up camp. We come to the campground, swap the ST225/75R15, and they finish the week without breaking camp.
Pre-trip morning call
A family leaving for a Tennessee camping trip the next morning calls the evening before. We come to the driveway that night, inspect all four tires, and replace one with borderline sidewall cracking.
Common Travel Trailer Tires Questions
What tire sizes do most travel trailers use?
The most common sizes are ST225/75R15 for 24-to-28-foot trailers and ST235/80R16 for larger or heavier units. Older and smaller trailers may run ST205/75R15. We stock all of these.
Can you inspect my travel trailer at a campground?
Yes. Campgrounds, RV parks, storage lots, and driveways — we come wherever the trailer is. If you're set up at a campsite and have a flat or a concern, call us.
Should I replace all travel trailer tires at once?
If one tire has failed due to age or dry rot and the others are the same age, yes — replace the set. Running mismatched old and new tires on a tandem axle creates uneven load distribution and can cause early failure.
How do I check the age of my travel trailer tires?
The last four digits of the DOT number on the sidewall tell you the week and year of manufacture. For example, '4221' means week 42 of 2021. In Florida's climate, anything over 5–6 years should be inspected.
Are pre-trip tire inspections worth it for travel trailers?
Absolutely. Most travel trailer tire failures on the highway are preventable. A pre-trip inspection takes 20–30 minutes and catches the kind of dry rot and sidewall cracking that doesn't show up until you're doing 70 on I-95.
