Boat Trailer Tire Replacement
Mobile boat trailer tire replacement at the ramp, marina, or storage yard. Saltwater dry rot checks and ST tire sizing for single and tandem axles.

Boat trailer tires live a rough life — low mileage but constant saltwater exposure, long spells in storage, and weeks baking in Florida sun. By the time you notice a problem, you're usually at the ramp on a Saturday morning with a trailer you can't move. We come to the ramp, marina, or wherever the trailer sits. ST-rated sizing like ST205/75R14 and ST225/75R15 covers most single-axle and tandem-axle boat trailers. We also check every tire's DOT date code — a 7-year-old trailer tire with good tread is still a 7-year-old tire.

Calls We Get Every Week
Saturday morning ramp flat
You pull into the Edgewater boat ramp and notice the right rear trailer tire is flat. The boat's on the trailer, the truck's blocking the ramp. We come to you, change the tire on the spot, and you're on the water by 8:30.
Pre-season marina storage check
Your boat trailer has been in a Ponce Inlet storage yard since October. We find two ST205/75R14 tires with sidewall cracking that would've failed on the highway. Both come off before you ever hook up.
DOT date code over the limit
You thought the tires looked fine. They did. But the DOT code showed 2017 — 9 years old. Florida saltwater and UV had done their damage inside the rubber. We swapped all four before the trip.
Common Boat Trailer Tires Questions
Do you service boat trailers at the boat ramp?
Yes. Ramps, marinas, storage yards, and driveways — wherever the trailer is. We've done plenty of Saturday morning ramp calls in Volusia and Brevard Counties.
What's the right ST tire size for my boat trailer?
Most single-axle boat trailers run ST205/75R14 or ST175/80R13. Tandem-axle trailers for larger boats often run ST225/75R15. We'll confirm the right size when you tell us the trailer and boat size.
How often should I replace boat trailer tires?
Every 5–6 years regardless of tread depth. Saltwater exposure and UV in Florida accelerate dry rot faster than mileage does. Check the DOT date code on the sidewall — the last four digits show the week and year of manufacture.
Can you tell if my trailer tires have dry rot?
Yes. We look for hairline cracks between the tread blocks, sidewall cracking, and checking at the bead area. Florida UV damages the rubber compounds over time even when the tire looks fine at a glance.
Do you carry spare boat trailer tires?
We stock the most common ST trailer sizes. If your size is less common, let us know when you call and we'll confirm availability before rolling out.
